It started with my mother's dream
StickerCon is a small swag business with one job on the side: keeping my mother's NGO going.
My mother and [NGO name]
[Mother's name] started [NGO name] in [year] in [city]. [Two or three lines in Appy's words: why she started it, what she saw, what she wanted to change.]
Today the NGO [what it does day to day, and who it helps].
Like most small NGOs, the hard part has never been the work. It's keeping the money coming in so the work doesn't stop.
Why stickers?
Tech teams and open source conferences spend real money on swag every year. Stickers, tees, kits, little things for the desk. I thought, what if that money could do two jobs at once: give people swag they love, and fund something that matters.
So I started StickerCon. [Optional: a line about Appy, his connection to tech and open source, in his own words.]
How the money works
We keep it simple. Every order is priced to cover the materials, the printing and the shipping. Whatever is left goes to [NGO name]. [Confirm the exact share or rule, e.g. "at least X% of every order"]
We'll share what each month's orders paid for, with updates and photos from the NGO, so you can see it for yourself.
